While fiddling with my tiny Gakken SX-150 MARK II Analog Synthesizer, I found that it was marvelous for making strange, unpredictable sounds. Since the stylus makes it near-impossible to play repeating, replicatable patterns, it lends itself nicely to chaos.

The first track on this album is a studio recording of the Gakken through multiple effects and fuzz/distortion, an entertaining anarchy of noise. It was recorded at the Charnel House on Sept 16, 2019. The second track was recorded live, so it's muddier but still good fun. The solo performance at Berkeley's Dildo Factory space came about because Grux asked if I could play an electronic set and I said sure. Then I had to figure out what I was going to do. The first track here was basically my trying to figure out my plan for the show, which was a couple of weeks later on the 29th. Then, because I can't leave well enough alone, I decided to see in what ways I could muck with the studio recordings and make something new out of them.

And there you have it, or here you have it, or something like that. Enjoy, or torture your roommates/families, or...whatever works.
